On The Tiles

We have been making clay tiles

with artist Carole Miles

we collected  leaves and grasses

and impressed letter stamps

and buttons into the soft, damp clay.

We also drew and dotted!

We used a clay tile cutter to make the tiles 

and left them in the sun to dry.

Carole took them away to be fired

promising to bring them back for us to glaze.

Happy 10th Birthday Groundworks!

friends from all over the county

gathered at The Green Patch

the site that lies at the heart of 

our View From Here project,

to share stories of growth and change

and to share food and fresh air

with an organisation and in a space that has

both community and wellbeing at it's core.
